Here’s chapter 35 which starts off Sangokushi v07. Poor Liu Bei finally catches a break and Sun Jian is out to settle his vendetta. Should be able to finish up v07 by the end of this week if all goes well.
Chapter 36 is out and Sun Jian shows his superior tactics. As expected from the supposed descendant of Sun Tzu.
And chapter 37 is out. Talk about a death flag…

The number of volumes this thing has scares me… but the temptation to read this is just too big.

After all, reading something long and reading lots of shorter stories ends up taking the same time, doesn’t it?
Maybe I’m the odd one here, preferring longer manga to shorter ones.
And it’s better to catch up now when there’s only 6 volumes out so far. But to be honest, I would personally rather marathon a story like Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It’s just incredibly hard to put down once you’ve started it.

thanks a lot for doing Sangokushi, been reading it and it seems to follow the original really closely. i’ve wanted to read it ever since i caught glimpses of its storyline on those Chinese dramas on tv when i was in primary school (and i had no idea what was going on —> questions like: ‘so who’s the bad guy?’ ‘what?! why did he do that? i thought he was a good guy?’).
anyway, thought i’d show you some love and appreciation. and your mistakes are minimal which is always good for a pedant like me
